Jason Ridloff

Partner, Head of Patient Square Capital Markets

Mr. Ridloff has nearly 30 years of experience in capital markets, private credit, leveraged finance, special situations, and restructurings. Most recently, he was a Managing Director at Carlyle Direct Lending, where he led direct lending transactions, including overseeing the health care portfolio, and the group’s restructuring and opportunistic investments.

Previously, Mr. Ridloff was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at BlackRock, overseeing north of $2 billion in capital across direct lending, distressed assets, structured equity, and secondary markets. He also served on key investment committees and held board roles in multiple portfolio companies.

Mr. Ridloff began his career post graduate school at Credit Suisse and its predecessor, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, working on a broad range of merchant banking, M&A, leveraged finance, equity and restructuring transactions. He later joined KKR to build its Capital Markets business, where he led restructuring efforts during the financial crisis and over $50 billion in debt financing. He transitioned into KKR’s Asset Management division to focus on principal credit and equity co-investments.

Mr. Ridloff holds a B.S. in Economics and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
