Emily Janvey, M.D. is a Partner and Co-Head of Royalty and Structured Solutions. Prior to joining Patient Square, Dr. Janvey was a Managing Director at Carlyle / Abingworth where she led structured financing transactions with pharmaceutical companies and biotechs. Prior to Carlyle, Dr. Janvey was the Health Care Portfolio Manager at ICONIQ Capital and before that, she was the head of KKR’s Health Care Royalty and Income platform where she worked with Mr. Momtazee. Dr. Janvey joined KKR from TPG / Sixth Street Partners where she was a Vice President focused on providing royalty and credit financing to life science companies. She began her career as a consultant in the health care practices at McKinsey and Company.
Dr. Janvey previously served on the Boards of Global Medical Response, Arbor Pharmaceuticals, and Headlands Research.
She earned her M.D. and M.B.A. from the Perelman School of Medicine and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and her B.A. in neuroscience, summa cum laude, from Hamilton College.
