Alex Albert
Founding Partner
Alex Albert is a Founding Partner of Patient Square Capital. Alex serves as a Deal Team Leader on the Deal Professionals Team. Mr. Albert has over 19 years of investment and acquisition experience. Prior to joining Patient Square, Mr. Albert was a Partner with Ares Management where he served as the co-head of health care within the Private Equity Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2014, Mr. Albert was a Vice President at FFL Partners. Earlier in his career, Mr. Albert was an Associate in private equity at KKR where he worked on the health care industry team with Mr. Momtazee. In addition, Mr. Albert began his career as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs and worked on the health care industry team.
Mr. Albert is Chairperson and on the board of directors of the Healthcare Private Equity Association (HCPEA). Mr. Albert currently serves on the board of directors of the parent entities of Summit BHC, Hanger, and Radius Health. Most notably, Mr. Albert served on the board of directors of the parent entities of DuPage Medical Group, National Veterinary Associates, Ob Hospitalist Group, Unified Women’s Healthcare, as well as Jazz Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Albert holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in Economics and an M.A. from Columbia University in Quantitative Methods. He also holds an MPhil from Oxford University in Economics. Mr. Albert is a CFA® charterholder.
